The symbol of Shinsekai. The first tower was built in 1912, and the present tower is the second, from 1956. On the observation deck sits Billiken, the god of good luck, and stroking the soles of his feet is said to make wishes come true. The shop sells Billiken goods and Tsutenkaku-exclusive sweets, where you can find souvenirs that feel like Osaka. Underground there is also a space recreating a retro Showa-era streetscape.
