An old shrine affectionately called "Ishikiri-san", venerated as a deity for curing swellings and boils (denbo). Lines of people performing "Ohyakudo-mairi" (making 100 round trips of prayer) in front of the main hall never stop. The shopping street on the approach from Kintetsu Ishikiri Station is packed with fortune tellers, Chinese herbal medicine pharmacies and old-fashioned souvenir shops, and stores selling local specialties such as mugwort mochi and cinnamon candy line the street, forming a unique temple town.
