Monaka (bean paste in a wafer shell) from Shinshodo in Shimbashi, Tokyo. The name comes from the shop standing on the site where Asano Takumi-no-kami committed seppuku (ritual suicide), and the shell is split so the bean paste shows. It is also known for being used as an apology gift.
